Do you have examples of local authorities using open data?

Some people in local authorities are taking advantage of open data to develop tools and services for people to use. So let’s have some examples.

There is quite a lot happening at the moment, so it would be difficult – and probably not very helpful – to try and provide a comprehensive list. So instead I want to provide some examples of where this is being done, and to encourage discussion about their benefits.

These examples will be posted here. So far I’ve only got a handful, and I’ve only posted one (I ran out of time and had to go shopping, to keep the fridge and the cat happy).

If you have examples of your own please do add them to the comments. The more we can get the more we can help advance the promotion and discussion of open local data.
