The Community Education Awards 2011 is a new awards scheme organised by the Police Community Clubs of Great Britain. The awards aim to celebrate innovative and effective community projects that have a positive impact on young people.
Citizenship Magazine is supporting the award for outstanding PSHE/citizenship teacher, which will celebrate the work of PSHE and citizenship teachers in helping children to become positive community members. And as well as a prize for the PSHE/citizenship teacher of the year there are prizes for schools with the most effective projects addressing issues such as bullying, substance misuse and internet safety.
