So what datasets are people actually publishing?

I’ve decided to add the feed from data.gov.uk to this site, so that you can see the breadth of data that is now being published as well as the variance in quality of labelling.

All sorts of data are now being published by all sorts of organisations, from Tribunal Service quarterly statistics to Utilisation of Milk by Dairies in England and Wales.

There are also, sadly, still a lot of datasets that don’t explain themselves. Take, for example, Index of Production; index of what production, by whom and submitted by which organisation? Thankfully, and unlike my previous examples, in this case it’s only the title that leaves us baffled: click through and you’ll find more useful information.

At some point I might try and put the feed into a page of its own, but for the time being you’ll find it near the bottom of the sidebar.
