Nick Clegg supports citizenship

The Deputy Prime Minister, at a Demos-based meeting on Monday 17 January, answered a question on political and economic literacy in young people by saying that he recognised the importance of citizenship education in schools.

He said it could be inspiring and should be consistent across all schools.
