Article 50 day has arrived, what will you tell your students?

Wednesday 29th March 2017 may not seem like a very significant day now, but our formal notification to leave the EU is winging its way to Donald Tusk in Brussels, so we will all probably want to remember where we were when this historic notification was sent.

To support you the Citizenship Foundation have developed a FREE dynamic and thought provoking assembly resources for both Primary and Secondary School students.  The resource features an editable PowerPoint presentation and teachers’ notes with inspiring discussion points.  The resources can also be used as a mini whole-class session if you want to delve deeper into this crucial topic.

Key questions such as; changes our trade relationship with the EU and the free movement of people are covered.  Today is just the beginning of a long and undefined process of change, and change can be both unsettling and exciting, let us help you help your pupils be prepared.
